I am ERP coordinator in the MS GP implementation team of Construction and manpower company in Alkhobar Saudi.

I need to know the tricks to get the Endusers start working in GP .

ReplyDeleteAs per my experience in more than 25 Corporate GP implementation in the Middle East, the simple rule of the game is to make the end user LOVE the product.The moment you make them feel inside their comfort zone,50% of your project implementation success is guaranteed.
Now you need to work a little extra hard to achieve it.Proper planned User training is the key.Break down each process and identify the end users for each department.If possible,create a manual which addresses only the concerned users' task and hand it to them.
Show ONLY the screens thats concerned with the particular department.This will drastically reduce the end user fear of complex system.
Spend time with the end users and address their key grievance.
Another key point is get the management to strictly adhere to CORE system flow and make sure that YOU are the KEY decision maker for THEIR corporate success. and MAKE SURE the end user KNOWS this fact.
These are some of main points you need to keep in mind for successful implementation.
